Pointe Work (En Pointe): Meridian Dance Academy is thrilled to offer pointe technique instruction for those who have advanced ballet experience.
Pointe work is a special milestone in every ballerina's life.
Tap Dance: We offer various classes in ages 3 to adult tap.
Our tap instruction ranges from fun and active movements, to advanced time steps and choreography.
Ballet: We offer Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Ballet.
We create a fun atmosphere while teaching the fundamentals.
Lyrical: We provide a class that combines elements of ballet, modern dance, and jazz techniques.
A minimum of two years of ballet is required for this class.
Jazz: Jazz technique is essential for all performers. A strong technical foundation will enable our dancers to excel in all aspects of dance.
In our classes we focus on Center Control and Spotting techniques.
Hip Hop: Attitude and Expression. Breaking, Poppin’ and Lockin’. Freestyle and Funk. Electric Boogaloo. Street and Stunts. Gliding and Jerkin’. Fresh and Young.
